Infant/Toddler Program
Our infant program is fit for children aged 6 weeks to 12 months old. Basically, they are just beginning to make sense of their worlds – they study their feet, explore things using their mouth, cry to express pain, hunger, etc., they turn attention towards sources of sounds, and you get the picture – they learn through their senses.
The touch, the sight, the smell, the hearing, and the taste are the most active leeways we can use for learning in this stage. At Little Birds Day Care Center LLC, our approach is heuristic, most significantly, it is centered on play. The activities for infants include:
- Grasping, batting, rattling toys, kicking
- Pulling up
- Pushing, prodding, tasting (safety-guarded), smelling, banging
- Paddling, using ribbons
- And many others
Our toddler program includes little kids from 1 year to 2 years of age. Characteristically, they are interested in matching, putting objects in and out of containers, loading, sorting, jumping, and noting differences between objects. Using this knowledge, we provide them with access to materials and equipments for play, to perform the activities of:
- Transporting
- Engaging in mini-work areas
- Exploring sounds
- Building blocks, legos, filling in bottles
- Sorting objects
- Hauling, loading, moving, etc.
Early Learn Program
Little Birds Day Care Center LLC‘s Early Learn program provides free or low-cost child care and education for children six weeks to two years old. This program takes place in centers or homes for up to 10 hours a day and includes Early Head Start programs for pregnant mothers, infants, and toddlers. These provide services for at least eight hours a day.
3-K School Day/Extended Day Program
Little Birds Day Care Center LLC offers free or low-cost services yet high-quality early childhood care and education for children in the calendar year that they turn three years old.
These programs run year long, up to 10 hours per day, and offer a safe, positive learning environment for children to learn, play, and build skills for kindergarten and beyond.
In 3-K, learning through play helps support children’s social and emotional development, language and literacy, cognition, and even physical development.
All children of this age, including children currently attending EarlyLearn or other preschool programs, living with disabilities or accessibility needs, students in temporary housing, and children who move to NYC during the admissions process, are welcome to participate in our 3-K admissions.

Preschool Program
The Little Birds Day Care Center LLC provides the best full daycare services to children 3 to 5 years of age. We have imaginative and creative preschool teachers to be with your child all the way. Exciting activities and a variety of fun await those preschoolers. We put priority to the safety of your child.
Our preschool fun is engaged in a whole day of integrated play and learning. They are usually centered on the kid’s ability to explore as they start to make connections with their world. They are engaged in authentic activities including:
- Puzzles
- Outdoor play
- Show & Tell
- Listening Games
- Arts and crafts
- Music and dancing

UPK (Universal Pre-Kindergarten/Pre-K for All)
Children begin pre-kindergarten in the calendar year they turn four years old, and there is a UPK (Universal Prekindergarten)/Pre-K for All seat for every eligible four-year-old child here at Little Birds Day Care Center LLC. This program is fortified by the New York State Education Department, providing access to free, full-day, high-quality pre-kindergarten to every four-year-old, regardless of family income.
Our UPK/Pre-K for All program is in line with the state’s advocacy to hone its future with early acclimation to learning through exposing its young members to high-quality education. Little Birds Day Care Center LLC provides its pre-kindergartens with opportunities for advanced learning and development in literacy, math, science, and physical activity.

After School Program
Our after school program is designed to make productive the lagging hours that your children are not in school, making them vulnerable to spend these times for ungainful and even misguiding activities.
At Little Birds Day Care Center LLC, we offer a positive environment where they can extend their energy to do things that are worth engaging. Activities include but are not limited to:
